Original OxIS development
Status : Completed
Programme : Oxfordshire Infrastructure Strategy (OxIS)

The original OxIS was approved by the Future Oxfordshire Partnership (formerly known as the Oxfordshire Growth Board) in Autumn 2017. The Strategy built on an extensive evidence-based review to set out the core projects and investment seen as required to support a sustainable future for Oxfordshire. It identified and prioritised infrastructure across a range of sectors to support known local plan housing and employment development, and outlined where funding was required to help deliver this growth. OxIS has been an important piece of work to support development of subsequent funding bids and agreements, helping to secure funding for schemes through the Housing and Infrastructure Fund and the Oxfordshire Housing and Growth Deal.
